FranklinCovey’s Jean Chatzky Collection
We’ve released a new round of products from FranklinCovey, updated a bit based on your feedback. The basics, though, remain the same – the products are stylish and functional, and can assist you in meeting not only your organizational needs, but your financial goals as well.
The new line features totes – I haven’t stopped carrying the leather tote since it came in. With a ton of well-designed pockets, it’s perfect for everything I have to schlep around, my laptop included. There are also leather wallets (pictured below) and card cases. The regular wallet includes a mirror, so you can check your lipstick, of course, but also so you can look yourself in the eyes before buying something you don’t need. In the wallets, you’ll find the five questions I think we should all ask ourselves before swiping our plastic, plus a place to keep your cards, cash, coins and ID.
We’ve also added some very useful organizational items, highlights of which appear after the jump. You can view all available items and purchase everything at the Jean Chatzky Collection section on the FranklinCovey site.
The Monthly Budget Kit is a great tool for keeping a handle on your monthly spending. For each month, there’s a tracking sheet and pockets for bills and receipts, along with room for notes and reminders.
The Plan, Budget, Save, Notepad helps you plan and shop for meals. The magnetic notepad has space for a weekly menu on one side and a grocery list on the other. There’s room to note if you have coupons and track how much you’re spending while you shop. And you get my practical budgeting tips.
The Worth Noting Notebook has four sections to help you keep track of projects, notes, and family member’s activities – whatever you decide. It really helps you organize your tasks and get more done.

I had sent an email prior to signing up so I do not know if I will be responded to or if it was received. What it comes down to is this: I make $42,500 currently and have $109k in debt approximately. My husband and I have seperate finances and I have gotten myself into the payday loan trap. I knew better when I started this and now I am working desperately to get out. However, I am having a hard time making my minimum payments on everything credit cards, payday loans, credit union loans, etc., not to mention the everyday items needed, food, gas to work, etc. Please help! I am a walking timebomb from the stress. I do not know if I need to seek credit counseling, or if I can do this myself with the help of one of your books, or if I am looking at bankruptsy. Please let me know. I have everything on a spreadsheet if you would like to see it. Tlwines in Texas
