Feel-Good Saving Tips

New research shows that in our tighter economy, people are starting to feel better about saving than spending! How can you get that feel-good boost in your day to day life? Waiting for sales, cooking from scratch, and learning how to (conveniently) use coupons are just a few of the ways I highlighted this morning on the Today Show. Watch the clip below!

    I think the rule should be if you can’t afford to buy it don’t. The previous segment suggests negotiation which I do all the time even at the farmer’s market.

    I found Coupon Mom to be an outstanding site. YOu should see my freezer and pantry with the free items. I had a birthday recently and needed clothes. With the money I received I used sites (coupon mountain) that gives 20% off. With the 20% off it helped me get an extra blouse and other perks.

    If one is committed to paying credit cards off each month; use the card for an additional incentive for points on each dollar spent. It’s a lot of work but well worth saving 10-15% on food, clothing, etc.
