My husband did real estate for 12 yrs. and we also started our own remodeling business about 4 yrs. ago. Our tax debt has become overwhelming. We have been doing installment agreements since 2005. I feel like the debt will never go away. A couple of years ago we sold an investment home that appraised for $1.1 mil for $567,000. With the market crashing we had no choice. Our 2009 tax returns show an income of approx (-) $570,000. We hoped that with all this our tax debt would become zero. Do you have any suggestions?
